Game of Thrones
I like the way this season is going, it just seems so slow, at the end of every episode I find myself thinking , is that it?
Lots of payback, nice to see the Dire Wolf flags flying again... but I feel a setup , maybe White Walkers?
they will get to the white walkers eventually (or the walkers will get to them). 1st I think they'll need to deal with the lannisters and freys. when cersei learns that sansa is back home she will move heaven and earth to get vengeance. the lannisters just lost a major ally in the boltons, and are collecting enemies everywhere. next week I think we finally learn whats in the tower, and where jon snow came from. maybe bran will make it home, but he is probably still north of the wall. hopefully dany will finally set sail for westeros. and where the heck did slayer get off to? his dad is a Lannister bannerman, and going down with that sinking ship.
Jamie is conflicted, I doubt he will attack the Starks after sending Bren to aid her... and that corny wave wtf? Lol.
Guessing that Jamie will pull a Romeo and Juliet with his Sister soon.
he is conflicted, but I don't think cersai will leave him much choice. they may not have a chance to anyways, with the khaleezi heading their way. with sansa in the north, sand snakes in the south, cersai in kings landing, theons sister in the iron isle, and dany in mereen their are some serious female leadership in the world.
well I thought we were shaping up for a grip of female leaders (from bear island to mereen) but I didn't see that coming. sansa gets screwed out of the winterfell lordship and :o cersai goes mass murder and takes the iron throne. holy crap! might have wanted to check in with your boy, as he was kinda fond of his wife. he does a peter pan and her prophesy is fulfilled. that look from Jaime said it all. he betrayed his king for even thinking about doing what cersai did. can he add queen slayer to his moniker?
dany has finally set sail for home, after a long and tedious journey. she's got some serious backers in high garden, dorne, and the iron isles. hopefully they won't run into euron on the way.
cersai now has enemies on all fronts, including the church, the iron bank, the north, the vale, and the above mentioned trio backing dany. how many other reluctant allies will she lose when the targaryeon heir returns? which heir though? they finally told us what we already knew, jon snow is raygahr's son. probably ahead of dany in succession, being the 1st son of the 1st son. I wish they would have clarified his legitimacy. were they married in some secret ceremony? having multiple wives is just one of the rules those targaryeons used to ignore. who will be this husband that dany seeks out? my guess is jon's name pops up again. what the heck, she can't have babies anyways. and since he will live forever it seems who better to rule the 7 kingdoms?
this brings us to the main Lannister ally, the freys. not so sure about them any more. I knew that was arya. she tried to lure Jaime in too. lucky for him he's loyal to the mass murderer. house frey will most likely implode now, with all their strong leaders (if you'd call them strong) gone. inner strife will set in and hopefully the north will collect their sizable debt owed before too long. I would want a better ally occupying the twins anyways.
looks like sansa is out in the north. how is that going to sit with her? will she go along for the greater good, or get wrapped up in littlefinger's schemes to winterfells detriment? all I can truly say is, "i can't wait for nexty season"! what do you think, can they wrap it up in one more season or can they go for 2? you know what I want.
She can't have children, so she can't take the thrown, right?
Jon Snow will ride a Dragon and all will be right with the world.
seems we've learned from Robert and cersai that all you need to take the throne is to take it. keeping it is a different story.
lol on dragon riding. that part cracks me up. how about Tyrion designs you one of his custom saddles or something. the idea of her holding on to his horns while he does high speed maneuvers is laughable to me. I guess physics don't play in fantasy.
But is he going to forgive his brother? I expect he'll get wind of what's stirring in the North and head there.
